I think back to my eighth grade year and let’s face it – I hated middle school. I was awkward, everyone smelled bad, and I got in trouble for holding hands under a science book in the middle of my astronomy and earth science class – in front of everyone. Needless to say, it was a traumatic period of my life.
When Michelle contacted me about taking pictures of her 8th grade daughter, the oh so beautiful Kamryn, I of course was all about it. Kamryn just got her braces off and Michelle wanted to treat her to some pretty pictures. (Michelle is an amazing mom! I love that she is always making sure Kamryn knows she’s valued and beautiful!). We met at the Avalon in Alpharetta early this morning in hopes to not be around tons of people. Thankfully, the only people who joined us were people walking cute dogs, and I’m all about a cute puppy!
Kamryn is beautiful inside and out. She’s passionate, sweet, caring, and an all around good kid. We talked a lot about photography tips and tricks because she is the editor of her school’s year book (watch out world!) and loves taking pictures. I’ve known her for several years and it’s a joy to watch her grow and mature into a beautiful young lady. Have a great school year, Kam! Take on 8th grade like a boss!
