A Whimsical Engagement in Athens, Georgia

Paige & Ethan had a whimsical engagement session in Athens, Georgia last weekend. They met their freshmen year while attending University of Georgia so taking pictures at UGA’s North Campus was perfect for them. The fell in love in undergrad and dated for three years before Ethan proposed.

Their proposal story is so sweet. Paige is from New Jersey and went home for the holidays. Ethan surprised her and took a separate flight a few days later. She went and got her nails done with her best friend and when she arrived back home, Ethan was down on one knee in the backyard! All of her family was there to celebrate them. I know Paige and Ethan are thrilled to be getting married! 🙂

For their engagement session, we were checking the weather all week because it was supposed to rain. That day, the forecast cleared and we met in Athens. While we were walking to the session, there was a random pop up shower so we had to duck under some awnings to make sure her hair and make up stayed in tact! After that random shower, we were blessed with beautiful weather and the sun even popped out right at the end of the session. These two had so much fun laughing and flirting their way through their session. She wore a beautiful blue and white dress to match her wedding colors and a pretty white dress for her second outfit choice. Pro tip: We always love having an outfit change to give you some variation for your engagement gallery! We can always work out time to have an outfit change into your session.

I loved getting to spend time with them and create this whimsical engagement in Athens, Georgia and can’t wait for their wedding day next May at Ivy Hall!
