Zeke & Kristyn | Marietta, Georgia | Wedding

October 27, 2018

It was an unusually cold day for an October here in Georgia but the love that Zeke and Kristyn shared was anything but cold.  We arrived at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta and were just in awe of how beautiful the church was.  It is so picturesque with it’s white steeple and red brick exterior.  The ceremony took place inside the chapel which was a smaller, but equally beautiful room.  As soon as we arrived, we headed downstairs to the bridal suite.  The room was filled with lots of love and laughter for Kristyn as she got ready for her big day.  Erin Ryser did her hair and make up and the classic updo was a perfect look for Kristyn.  We loved the classic black dresses that she chose for her bridesmaids to wear.  We also couldn’t get enough of her sweet niece who was the flower girl.  She was the cutest and just adored the beautiful bride! Kristyn chose neutrals, ivory and greens for her wedding colors and it created a beautiful and timeless look for her day.

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful from start to finish.  It is truly evident how much Zeke and Kristyn love each other.  From the first look to the vows to the kiss, it was fully of wonderful memories.  As soon as it was over, we went outside for the family formals and bridal party pictures.  Towards the end, the sun started peeking out which was great.  Her parents surprised her and Zeke with a trip to the reception in a vintage Rolls Royce which was so cool!  We loved getting to capture them inside of the car.

Their reception was at an Italian Restaurant in downtown Roswell called Osteria Mattone.  The food and atmosphere were to die for.  We’ll definitely be heading back for a date night very soon.  The cake is from one of our favorite bakeries in the Atlanta area, Gabriel’s, and it was the part of Kristyn’s day that she was really looking forward to!  Because the picture time was limited at the church, after Zeke and Kristyn left the reception we headed to Morgan Falls Overlook for more bride and groom pictures.  It was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed heading down to the dock and grabbing some pictures on the Chattahoochee River. There even was a fish flopping around on the deck which was quite exciting.

Thank you Kristyn and Zeke for having us capture your beautiful wedding day.  We wish you a life of love and happiness as you journey through the years together!
